    Default Ready to drop?

My poor platy. She was almost ready to drop the week of Christmas. Then I had an ammonia spike and was doing LARGE water changes for the entire week. All levels are back to normal now. But by Christmas she was stressed and didn't even look pregnant anymore.

The last two days she's been rather quiet and hiding. A lot today and just doesn't seem that interested in food today. She nibbled a bit but not normal amount.

Could she be ready to drop now? Should I have her in breeder box?
Help I have no idea here!

Do you see the dark spot near the back of her abdomen that would signal that she is near ready to drop?

Also, what's that white strand hanging out of her anus? If it's feces, it should be brown/black in colour, not white. I don't think she's pregnant; the swelling may be caused by something else, like a parasite.
Dwarf cichlids = more personality per inch than just about any other fish (maybe even animal) that you'll ever have as a pet

She's been like that since the major water changes. Only change in the tank is adding a pleco 2 days ago. It's not really white either. I think that maybe the flash that caused that colour. Cause that looks white ion the pic! And no where near that in the tank.

She has the black spot there.
She has dark grey poop now when I checked
