    Default suitable with oscar?

hey my friend was asking me the other day if he could put an oscar in with his larger fish, he has a massive tank. hes got a black shark that can get to 18inches and a shoal of tinfoil barbs that get to 14inches. because of the sizes it would seem they are suitable tank mates? the thing i did mention is the oscar can get agressive and if the shark came close it might attack yea i wonder what the experts say here lol i think my friend will get an oscar anyway he gets new fish all the time hes obsessed with fish.
and that as they say is that.

    How big is the oscar?

The tinfoil barbs probably wont bother the oscar if they are in groups of 4-5 or more

They will be fine as long as they all are around the same size. Massive tank i.e. 300 gallons+ would sweeten the deal. Not that its needed.

A black shark can scale out a fully grown oscar easily. BTW black shark gets to 25" max even in captivity and gets really aggressive. I would compare it's aggression to a red devil or midas cichlid. Do not let the suction shape mouth fool you that it can't do damage, because it can. As long as the oscar won't show any aggression to the black shark, then it should be fine. However if the oscar bugs the black shark first and if the black sharks wins the fight it will keep harrassing the oscar whenever it wants. Therebis a video in youtube of the same size oscar and black shark. The oscar got beat up by the black shark.
