Also, are you thinking submersible, or inline? I guess it really depends how your tank is set up.

I have 2 jager's sitting in my sumps last compartment and it keeps it at a nice 80 area all the time.

The new 300W heater is rated for 159-264 gallons of tanks.

However, I just recently had two two-year-old eheim 200W heaters died on me.
They have three warranty tho.

I'd go for two external heaters(Hydor ETH) with external digital controller if my 1000W titanium died.
