    Default what should i do with 180g

    what should i do with 180g. i have head and tail light tetras and some black skirt tetras and mbu puffer. i wanna add some fish to the tank that will really make it stand out. i want a bigger fish maybe like discuss our maybe some kind of large peaceful cichlid our i was maybe thinking of getting a few African lung fish in there and get rid of the tetras anyways what do you guys think i should put in with my mbu

    2 Mbu puffers
    few dwarf neons

    You would only be able to have 1 african lungfish as they fight with each other. You would have to get a south american lungfish or aussie since they are more docile.

    Would the mbu snack on all fish, given the opportunity? I don't know as I haven't kept them before, but that's what I heard as they are predators.

    What kind of substrate do you have ? One of the cichlid's I miss the most is my geophagus lots of different varieties and they are fun to watch.

    Now dont quote me on this but I believe south american lungfish dont have as many spots on them and they are a lighter colour than african. It's hard to tell them apart. Wait until someone with more expertise comes along like king el.

    ya miss all my geos too. i should of never got rid of them i had a really good bunch of them from Charles and others

    A tank that size would look great with up to a dozen or more discus beauties, as you originally mentioned.
    They'd do well with your tetras, and perhaps your mbu puffer as well - don't know, as I've never kept discus with that fish. Can't see that it would be a problem, though.
