Default Enterochromis cf. paropius, Mwanza Bay

Enterochromis cf. paropius, Mwanza Bay (Haplochromis sp. "broken bar")

A relatively peaceful and small species from Lake Victoria that can be kept with other peaceful African cichlids. I imported these from Sweden last year and they are originally from the University of Leiden. I have about 25 juveniles for sale. These are most likely the only specimens in Canada, maybe even North America.

When kept in a decent size group, most males will color up.

I can ship with Canada Xpress Post or WestJet. I offer Live Arrival Guarantee with WestJet only. I should mention however that I have shipped with Canada Post many times and never experienced any losses.

Yes they are nice. I have 6 3m and 3f I got them last year and they are breeding. Fantastic colors. I am going to raise a big colony as these are rare and endangered in the wild so we need to keep the species alive. Patrick of Gils N Fins is a great guy to deal with, all my fish arrived alive and healthy
