Hello from ladysmith Vancouver Island

Joined the forum a few minutes ago. Found the site while looking for a "Good" local fish forum.

I'm in the middle of cycling my 50 gal, and 150 gal tanks and think the 50 gal will be readt for fish this week end, looking to stalk with African cichlids.

I've been in and out of fish keeping for about 7 years, put the hobby aside for a few years. So I would consider myself a novice fishkeeper.

Looking forward to read through the forum to pick up some pointers and talk to local fishkeepers about the hobby.

We are an amalgamation of many different hobbyists here. There are dwarf shrimp, planted tanks, African cichlids, goldfish/koi, pleco, catfish, betta, oddball, community, marine (FOWLR), and reef enthusiasts to name a few.

I've changed my name from "juststay....." to IceBlue. For some reason I couldn't make any posts so I re-enrolled. I've been trying to reply since yesterday so decided to make the switch.

Anyway thanks for the welcome everyone. Looking forward to discussing fish with local hobbyists.

Since my last post I've purchased 5 gresheaki's (Ice Blue) and 7 yellow Lab's. Tank looks great and it's great to have my tanks running again. So it's time to look around the site.
