About LinkBacksHi everyone. I used to keep a few 10 gallon tanks in my room back in high school (late eighties). I had the typical guppies and mollies and a few neon tetras. Once I moved out that hobby was put on hold. I always wanted to get back into it, but with a saltwater tank and some more colourful fish. During a recent visit to Surrey I had the pleasure of seeing Dough's 144G Oceanic half round (for sale in classified freshwater here now) and an introduction to cichlids. We must have watched those fish for two hours!
So my hunt was on for a tank to get back into the hobby. I don't usually post on forums, I'm normaly too quiet, but everyone here is so friendly. I love reading and seeing people's tank journals. I may start my own soon

So did I read it right, when you saw Dough's tank and you said "here now", does that mean you bought it. It's a beauty for sure. Anyway welcome back to the hobby.

If I still lived on the coast I would have bought it in a heartbeat, but it's just not possible for me now. Dough told me how much he likes this forum. I found a 36x12.5x14 on kijiji I'm going to use. And no sorry, I haven't met the Wrenches.
