About LinkBacksHi there everyone, we started our fish adventure with a Beta (which by the way was eaten by some of my guppies) a year and a half ago. We now have a 33 gal and a 50 gal fresh water.
A little more on the Beta story: he lived by himself in a fish bowl but was very lazy, didn't swim much (he literally just layed on the stones). I don't know but I think his fins were to heavy? any way we desided to put him in in our 33 gal with some guppies, tetras and algae eaters and see what happened. In two days he was gone...
Anyway, it's great to be here and I'm looking forward to a lot of fish wisdom!

me either, 2 days after the betta was in the tank, we couldn't find it, we assume the guppy ate it...

Welcome to the tank!!!
My guess would be the tetra nipped/stressed him out, & the algae eaters ate the carcass.
What kind of algae eaters do you have?
CAE/Chinese Algae eater are known to suck on live fish & I've seen my pleco sucking on dead fish before(lights out/ just before light on).
Any of my old bettas would have killed any guppies.
