About LinkBacksName's Jesse and I'm happy to see there's a forum just for BC Aquarists
Been in the hobby for about 6 months now, and loving it! currently have a 10 gallon planted tank with guppies, oto's, shrimp, and assassin and apple snails.
My guppies just had fry and I'm very confused as to what I should do with them, there's about 30+ of them, already gave a few to the girlfriend and friends but I dont know what to do with the rest!! :S
On top of that my 2 other guppies are still pregnant to!
I've been looking for more assassin snails, my tank is being overrun by apple snails due to overfeeding (noobie mistake in the earlier months).
I live in the burnaby area, just 5 mins away from IPU, makes it super convenient.

Welcome Jesse. I'm fairly new myself. Great bunch of people here with loads of knowledge.
I too have too many snails but it was a hitch hiker pest that soon took over.
We have a classified section that you could possibly sell your fry and even your snails *33 Gallon with Guppies 3 abino longfin bn pleco's, Lyretail Dalmation mollies 4 Khuli loaches.
Cherry and Amano Shirmp
*30 Gallon with Marbled Crayfish, white cloud minnows, least livebearers
*5 gallon betta and 4 african dwarf frogs.

Ditto on Storm's idea of selling the apple snails (usually Ramshorn, Malaysian trumpet, or Pond snails tend to overrun peoples tanks. I believe canandian Aquatics should have Assasins in stock.
We are an amalgamation of many different hobbyists here. There are dwarf shrimp, planted tanks, cichlid, goldfish/koi, pleco, catfish, betta, oddball, community, marine (FOWLR), and reef enthusiasts to name a few.

Like CRS said theirs many many diffrent types (cichlid, bettas, catfish/ plecos) enthusiasts heres but many have more than one weaknesss =P
i mostly have catfish, cichlids and bettas =]
