I guess this will be my first real post on BC Aquaria although i been lurking around the forums ever since i started making annual trips out to Vancouver every year for the last 4 or 5 years.
Actually, i think it was this site that introduced me to freshwater dwarf shrimps! Back than i could only get my hands on Amano shrimps and the occasional Cherry Red's. Didn't really have much luck back than and other things in my life took over but last month as i saw one of those Fluval Ebi Shrimp kit and it got me thinking about shrimps again. Browsing through some of the posts here on elsewhere on the web, I was amazed by how far the hobby has come along and it really inspired me to get back into it.
I am quite excited about getting back into shrimps and looks forward to meeting and learning from all the shrimp lovers here!

I am originally from Calgary but now staying in Trail...
I have a few dwarf shrimps around my tanks here, but never tried them in Calgary.. there is somewhat of a difference in water chemistry between here and there.
