I have been a member of this forum for a very short time but my experiences have been overwhelmingly fantastic and so I thought it past due for an introduction.
I began fish keeping when I was 10 and I will never forget the day the Black Mollie had babies. I was hooked. The hobby has come and gone in my life but I continue to come back time and time again. In the early nineties I had a great time with a Congo semi Biotope with Butterfly Fish Congo Tetra's and Steatocranus. This tank was a great experience as I built a Co2 system found my own substrate, and bought a crazy fun sculpted 3d background.
And now I have returned again with a supportive partner, two small tanks to get my feet wet again, and a larger project underway.
People on this site have been fantastic and passionate.
Just wanted to say hi, formally.
For work I describe plays for people with visual impairments and my other passions include music, I have written, recorded, produced and performed three records to date, and Theatre, one play under my belt, another that begs to be written but my fingers resist translating it from brain to paper.

That is all for now, thanks for the welcome, and all the help.

    Rick
