Red face New but not ready to jump in the deep end yet

    Hi,

I finally got around to introducing myself--Beth Simmonds--or MammaBeth on the site.

I've recently moved (again!) and I'm currently in Edmonton but anticipating another move to BC (or NS) depending on where they send my hubby.

I'm interested in Flowerhorns but I only have a betta and a couple of generic goldfish and pleco in a 20ish gallon tank.

I want something interesting and different, but I haven't decided what--which is why I'm on this site.

I apologize for Lurking, but home and kids keep me busy and I finally had 10 minutes of peace to say hi!

    WELCOME!!!!!

I find I'm really attracted to flowerhorns too, although it would drive me nuts to have an entire tank set up for just one fish

    Enjoy your time here.

Welcome Beth, I have found alot of help on this site, everyones very helpful. I think flowerhorns are really cool, but just like Shelly, I'd go nuts with just one type of fish, because i just can't decide on just one, I want them ALL! LOL

    Welcome

I would suggest rehoming your goldfish and pleco. I'm assuming the Pleco is a common Pleco, and those can grow 18" or more and should be in at least a 75g tank. Same goes for the goldfish.
