After a year of that, and the help from this forum, you should be ready to slowly walk into the marine scene.

Too be perfectly frank, you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. I remember that advice to me when I first started, and although I didn't want to hear it at the time, it was invaluable.

    Cheers,

Thanks Chris for the friendly advice. Personally I don't mean any disrespect, but from what I've seen and doing some research I feel that starting out with a fresh water tank doesn't suit my needs. After shopping around and looking at freshwater and as well as salt water, also talking to a good friend of mine that has many years of experience with saltwater tanks. He will be my mentor has I establish my tank. Also Chris I will only be filling my tank with invert sea life in the early stages until I'm confident enough to throw some fish in, my tank is considered a nano tank and I wouldn't be doing my first saltwater experience in a 200gal tank that's why I'm somewhat starting out small. thanks again for the advice, and hope I didn't offend you in anyway I'll be seeing you on the forums
