Question Any suggestions or technically i need help .

Okay i'm going to make this simple cause the paragraph i did earlier to make people understand didn't make sense .

    I'm doing a water change . With a strategy !
I have 2 plastic buckets which are pretty huge and i mean 80 gallon tank huge .
    So i net out 2 goldfish's into 1 water bucket .
    (That's what i'm currently doing)^
My fish were deprived of fresh water for 1 month or so and i just netted them into the fresh water bucket . This has been the first time they have ever been in a water change . So my fish just want to exit the bucket that i netted them into .

Anyways my question is that my 2 fish are mortified of me from netting them into the plastic bucket how long would it last of being scared of me?

Another question is that there starting to mate but the male first hasn't develop tubercles on its gills and the female fish doesn't want to have babies yet . So what would happen now ?.. I'm not good at making decisions should i encourage them to have fry or should i not allow them to have fry ..

    Hi Jay,
did you let the water stand for 24 hours or use any of the many products to remove chlorine?

They may want out of the buckets because the chlorine is burning their gills.

The may become used to you when you feed them. Mine come to the edge of the tank and follow my movements.
That is because I feed them about 4 times a day<G>

Yes i did let the water sit for 24 hours . But sadly the weather here has been damp lately . I'm going to do the water change tomorrow and put all my goldfish into the water buckets that i've prepared for them .

It is never recommended to change more than 50% of your water, you changed all by the sounds of it. Is there a filter on both of these containers? Is the water hardness raised for them? There are a lot of questions to this one.
