How big do they grow? Do they eat the slime coat off of other fish? Are they at both locations?

they vary from 6-12", but I have read they rarely get max length. The average will be 6"-8". They are also slow growers. I also read they are territorial with other bottom dweller species. As far as sucking on slime coats , I don't think thats a worry but I could be wrong. Burnaby definitely has them & they are super healthy and just gorgeous plecos.

Wish I'd known this last week! I may have been able to resist till the sale started... However the one I got last week is doing great. Doesn't seem to bother any of the other bottom feeders and is starting to move around more in the daylight.

Yes, they are at both locations. Gold Nugget Plecos do not commonly affect slime coat of other fish, I personally have never had an issue with them. The largest Gold Nugget I have seen was no more then 4". Reports of up to 12"s but I have never seen one.

I was just at the burnaby location and picked one up. They looked healthy and had good colour. There were only a handful left so I wouldn't wait too long if you plan on getting one.
