Marineland Stealth Pro heaters RECALLS

Will you honour a refund for the defective Marineland Stealth Pro heaters?? I have one now and need a heater to warm my 75gallon setup..

When I was at the Burnaby location earlier this week, I was told that they would take my stealth pro and trade it for another heater (although I haven't had the chance to do so yet). I don't know about refunds though.

I just went to trade in my stealth pro, and they did also gave me the option of refunding it for store credit. I chose to just get a new heater however.

There is a recall on Stealth heaters that were purchased recently. I have been told that the problem has been rectified but we will give it a little time to see for sure.
Any returned Stealth heaters will be exchanged for a different heater or a in store credit.

Grant: I've only just seen this recall as I've been away from the fish forums most of this year (!!). Are you still offering to swap the heaters? Just found out all of mine (3) are subject to the recall. Shame, as I LOVE Stealth heaters!!

I just went to IPU Richmond and they told me to call Marineland and told me that their supplier is not dealing with it.

I will still honor the recall and I will deal with Marineland myself. Our dealers out west here are not dealing with Marineland heaters but we will worry about that. Sorry you were told that in RMD, I was not aware, I will let them know to honor the recall.

Thank you Grant and IPU, just got my store credit which I used to get a new heater just now
