you may have to narrow it down some... stem plant? sword plant? water lily?

Sunset hygro has red in it. The only thing with plants that have red in them is that they tend to not really get red without co2

probably an Alternanthera, Nessea, Ammannia, Ludwigia or Rotala species ... google those, see if one looks familiar

I've never made the connection between CO2 and redness, but that's definitely the case with lack of iron. Between my CO2 injected and non-CO2 added tanks, addition of iron has played a big role bringing the redness of ludwigia repens back in my non-CO2 ones.

As for the OP. Sunset Hygro as mentioned, Ludwigia repens, Red Hygrophila, Red Cabomba, Rotala Wallichi are some off the top of my head, but as stated - if you could narrow it down, it would help.

    Reddish plants I have include:

    1) Myriophyllum tuberculatum
    2) Pogostemon stellatus ‘Broadleaf’
    3) Proserpinaca palustris
    4) Alternanthera reineckii ‘Roseafolia’
    5) Ludwigia repens ‘Rubin’
    6) Ludwigia ovalis
    7) Ammania gracilis
    8) Ammania sp. ‘Bonsai’

The bolded plants are the reddest of the bunch! All the others have different shades of red/pink depending on lighting and nitrate levels. Hell, I have Blyxa with red veins (go figure).

    Hopefully this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Stuart
