    Default Sticky idea

    Hey everyone,
I have an interesting idea for a sticky. As retailers we deal with some very interesting situations from time to time. I thought it would be educational as well as sometimes amusing to hear about some of these times. I don't have anything specific in mind but some would make for a good read.
In addition hobbyists would get a feel for some of what is going on out there and the retailers view always seems to be appreciated here. Let me know what you guys think.
Might help my staff too if they have an outlet......of course these would only be posted by myself.

    Hi Rastapus,
I think it is a good idea.
We can all learn from others experiences problems and solutions.

Some times thinking out of the box (finding an unusual solution).

The the old computer tech joke about asking the woman if she still had the box the computer came in.

I agree with BubBleBee. Just don't make fun of us "newbies". Some of the questions may sound really silly to you, but not to us.
I guess it will be ok as long as the "goofy" person stay anonymous

I have complete respect for newbies. To be honest they can be some of the best customers because they want to learn anything they can from you and have no ego at all. Willingness to learn is the best quality in a customer and staff members alike!

Silly questions would not be my goal. After a few examples it will be more clear where I am coming from.

I moderate on a number of computer groups and one thing we say a lot is:
    "There are no dumb questions"

We can all learn something from someone else and the way they accomplished what they did not knowing the 'normal/other' way of doing it.

    My other Signature files says:
"It's a good day when I learned something new"
