hey everyone in my 150 i have a decent size LTA but its just not wanting attach its been about 2 weeks couple times ive turned off most of the pumps for couple hours at a time to try to let it settle, tryed circling some rock around it but nothing, waters perfect has almost 800w of lighting over the tank and about 2.5 inches of Argonite sand (sugar grain sized) then 1.5-2inches of crushed coral under that, it looks healthy and opens up but just cant get the pesky thing to attach! anyone have any ideas?

Not very experienced in them but as far as I understand they do move around until they find a spot they are happy with. I stayed away from them as I heard horror story of them got stucked in power head .....

Ready it it another try when I get to renovate my 75g.

its a beautiful anemone, i just hope it will find a spot that it can be seen at lol. and fortunately i have placed the power heads/intakes so it cant get to them.

Here's a suggestion as I've seen other people doing it. Submerse a plastic container under the surface about 1/4 inch, just let enough waterexchange. You can hold the plastic box up with a magnet cleaner. Then place a couple lr in the plastic box and once the anemone attaches move it into the tank. Anemones like a more gentle flow, if the flow is direct and too strong they will move.
