baby clown knife

so i got this clown knife ~2-3" from petsmart a couple weeks back and have yet to actually see it eat.. ive tried, bloodworms, shrimp, small peices of massivore, brine shrimp, flake (i know lol...). Any suggestions on what to try next to get some food into it?

Try droping the food and leave the room (complete darkness) and comeback the next day and see if it eats the food.

yup, mine was MAYBE 2" when i got him, preferred too eat at lights out i didn't see him eat for the first week at least, but saw the fat belly in the AM.

I found he did much better with lot's of plants too hide in as well ,

Edit: thought i should add too get mine started i put bloodworm and would have to leave it overnight, after a week or so he would grab the chunks before they sink would smell it the second it hit the water. When he put on a few inches i started dicing frozen shrimp letting sit and thaw in a shot glass with with a chunk of bloodworms, then i'd pick out the chunks of shrimp and toss them in from their i weaned him over too just shrimp also likes anything live of course but i DONT recommend it until after he's eaing at leats 2-3 prepared foods for several months other wise he might try and refuse anything but live.
