Get 6 of them and wait for a pair to show up. Breeding size is around 8". They will not breed unless your tank is well planted and acidic water. Many dwarf snakehead keeper do not do water changes for a year or more and just let the plants do the filtering. Just regular vacuuming of the poop or uneaten food. Even let the dead leaves decay in the tank.
I breed channa argus bck in 2009 but their breeding method is very different from channa bleheri.
everything that King-eL has said is spot on. for bleheris, they like a cooling period (Spring) where the temperature drops to around 16C-18C because of glacial run off that lowers the temperature. Supposedly many channa keepers have said that this stimulates breeding in many subtropical snakeheads
make sure you don't make the mistake of keeping the bleheri at tropical temperatures 18C-22C is ideal
