So I bought myself a little gift a while back, thought I would show him off. He is a snakehead, Channa stewartii cf barca. His name is "fang" lol

Fang came from king ed in burnaby, now I want the other ones they have, violets, a rainbow, and hartcourtbutleris lol

He's cute! How big does that kind get?

they top out at about 12 inches, so they are good for people that dont want a super large channa, but not a tiny one.

thats a great smaller species, and i've seen some adult cf. barca with stunning colors , i suggest feeding meal worms and super worms as part of the diet, i found it boosted the fin's and color on both asiatica and auranti will likely be a great addition for this species as well!

hahaha DC you guessed his favourite food... he LOVES the big king worms. He was first eating goldfish when I got him, but I managed to convince him onto kingworms, crickets, bloodworms, and shrimp. Hes kind of like a kitten, he likes watching the last two feeders, even though he doesnt want to eat them. Funny fish
