I think MFK has a fair number of people keeping Dorado. Like Barramundi, they apparently are delicious. :P

I got 3 dorados from Charles at 6" and now 2 left at 15". Golden color are starting to show. They like to chase away other shiny scaled fish and likes to fight non-stop at each other. My biggest 15.5" just ripped apart the guts out and killed the smallest 14" last month.I placed them in my comm tank, it keep chasing my arowanas but arowanas fought back and beat the crap out of the dorado. Not sure if the table will turn when the dorado hits 20-25". They are always hungry due to their high metabolism as they won't stop swimming, chasing and fighting. Only way for these fish to be in a community is to overstock you tank so they won't have a target selection. Place them in a less stock tank and you might see some fish that will be eaten. Other fish or same kind is just fare games to them.

Not sure about dorados and stingrays as I've never really try the combo yet.

some masheers / tors would look nice! tors are peaceful, schooling, and get VERY nice. As they get older, individual scales look like mirrors! rare fish.

i was at mike H20 aquatics in new york and he had a 3 foot dorado in his 4000 gal tank that would attack his arapaima even! his did not bother rays though but messed with his big dats, aros, arapaima, nile perch etc.
