    Default First batch for my Motoro female!

    It was her first pregnancy (January 31st/2011)and it lasted about 3 months. She had 3 pups, 1 female and 2 males. I just sold them yesterday as I didn't want to raise them but I thought I should at least post some pics. I have two more pregnant females stingrays due in April!

    what size tank did they successfully breed in??

    Thanks! I kept them in a 180 gallon and after about a month I moved the male to the 450 gallon to give the female some room. After she gave birth I moved the pups to a 90 gallon and moved the female to the 450 gallon. The male jumped on her right away and wanted to breed again but I thought I would give her a couple weeks break so I now moved another pregnant female into the 180 gallon with the horney male motoro. He seems to be pouting since I took him away from the female. He has now knocked up 3 females! This one gave birth and I have two more hybrid motoros due in mid April! Too much like work!

    I live in AB and don't ship fish! I will have more 2 more batches of pups in April if you want to drive to AB! LOL

    man i want a stingray, i'm jealous of your guys. haha
    any tips for somone who wants to get into ray keeping?
    water type? ph levels? what dose it take?
