    looks like a rainbow darter, could be wrong though.

    naa bro but nice try and thanks for checking because the rainbow darter grows ta 2-3 inches that fish is about 5-6 inches atleast

    It's a Dormitator latifrons aka Pacific Fat Gudgeon. You got yourself a female. Male will have a big round head. Max out at 14". They can survive fully marine, brackish or freshwater. Got a pair from North American Petstore few months back.

    i think he's right! I have never seen or even heard of any Dormitator ssp. before, defiantly going to be doing some serious research on them though, looks like a fish that should be swimming around in my tank!
