looking for some advise? stingray?

I got a deal on a male marble motoro ray that I could not pass up. I have a 210g tank the ray is around 10". The question is. Should I consider getting rid of any of my current fish to suit the ray better. I have 2 red spotted sevs. 1 gold sev. 1 red shoulder sev, 3 uarus and 1 oscar. All between 5 to 8". also have a 10" sailfin pleco. 1 feather fin cat, and 1 12" granulated catfish. or do you have any suggestions for other tank mates.

You NEED to get rid of your sailfin pleco or it will suck on your ray and kill it. Also your oscar should leave the tank as he can propose an problem.

yup no pleco. and depending on what you have for filtration, you might have to get rid of a few more fish. sounds like a heavy bioload tank.

I am running 1 fx5, and 2 ac 110 filters. Is that enough?

with your stock and filter, you sure need to do more water change. There is one cheap motoro on craiglist that you can add in as well .

excellent point IMO you filtration is likely enough too handle the bio load but this will only speed up the nitrate buildup. A ray will be far less tolerant too nitrate buildup then you current stock.

also agree pleco has too go, Oscar one of those risky tank mates might stress or even harm the ray depending on it's temperament/individual personality .

Ill try and get a few pics. Thanks for the advise. The pleco is gone as of last night. The oscar is very easy going, but ill keep an eye on him.
