Mbu and stingrays and other monsters

Someone was asking me to photograph a mbu puffer and stingrays tank as one of my customer has a 18" mbu with 3 teacup and 1 motoro stingrays. I never got around to her house and photograph them.

As I was looking through albertaaquatics.com, I remember Tman has a setup like that. So this is a link to his post. I do not have permission to re-post his photos but here is a link you can click and see. It is quite amazing tank that he has.

I've seen this tank before and I still can't get over the fact that he can keep a puffer with those fish, especially stingrays. A real luck of the draw I guess.

i have seen 2 other tanks in person in BC with Mbu and stingrays. Mbu is much docile than say the fahaka. I don't think it has much to do with luck. If anything, I would think the pike might cause a problem.

but here is the problem with keeping rays & mbu's... PH

Mbu Puffers like it higher & they come from a different part of the world then rays.

Rays like a lower PH. So it would work for a while, but forever. No in my opinon.

mix some gravel and argonite and meet half way at both there needs
