Default More pic's of my 3 new Ornate bichirs

Took some more pic’s of the new bichir's , thought I’d share

I've noticed 2 seem to be paired up, they stick close together while the 3rd is very personable always up looking for food,

here's the one who's always curious when I approach

and the other 2 , they didn’t feel like coming any closer then this i'll try to get close-up’s later, I noticed while flipping through dozens of pictures that there is a difference in skull shape between the 2, I'm wondering if this is an indication of gender ?? I’m going to have to do some more research !

Thanks, they are great fish, Much more active then my endli's & very personable

i'd say they are roughly 14"

The largest one spiked me when being put into the tank ,that's what i get for putting fish in by hand lol , but man i had no idea how sharp those spines were. was quite a sharp pain, then of course i forgot about it, until about an hour later when i noticed blood on the desk, little bugger spiked me good.
