    Default New Rescued Monster

Well, some of you may recognize this guy; as he was the 14 or so inch ID shark that was trapped in a 40g tank for many months. Due to this he had a rather large growth on him face due to continuously running into the glass.

I took him home, where I had pre-setup and equipment for a minor surgery to remove the growth before adding him into the tank. I should have taken pictures of him before with the growth on his face but I was too focused on getting him to sleep and getting the procedure done quickly, so he may rest a bit before going into a 120g wide tank.

I'm a little sad to say but I was a little impaticent when doing the procedure as I should have waited a little longer with the clove oil as I waited till he could no longer feel anything and silietly asleep verses totally asleep as I was too scared I would OD and kill the guy. He didn't move around and didn't feel anything, showed no discomfort after being placed into the tank, he does run and hide between the shovelnoises when I come close the the tank.

He's doing really good eating spinach like a true monster. I can't wait to see him once he fully recovers.

    And for the name 'Dudus'.

I'm limiting the size of my fish now. You want a 27" ripsaw catfish?

I'd have to wait a while on that one, till I get another tank setup as it wouldn't be aggressive enough to eat in that tank.
