    I just bought this fish today and i am trying to find out what it is. The pet store didn't know either. I think its some sort of barb..

    It looks like a Torpedo Barb with dull color.

    Might be a dull coloured Chalceus erythrurus.

    It looks very similar to my rasboras. Try googling yellow line, black line/ gold or blue line rasbora and i think you will see some similarities.
