    nice collection, I've never seen an all black oscar ? is he hiding color or is it some melanistic forum ?

    There is some making & colour only still not strong enough...
    It a wild caught oscar, something special about it is their
    eye len can reflect off light, at 1st i thought it was cloudy eyes.

    That red substartes with black background probably made it look darker. I had a oscar that I got from a member here that was greenish brown in color with wider black patterns. It went completely black went I placed it in my tank with reddish substrates. Gave it away to a friend and now it went back to it's greenish brown color in a brow, white, black mix gravel substrates.

    AMAZING THAT YOU CAN KEEP ALL THESE GUYS TOGETHER IN ONE TANK.

    I found my African tiger fish (4) could not be trusted together and had to split them up.

    I noticed your dorado chases them. Has he injured the atf yet?

    Is that a young Hoplias aimara on the right side of the tank? How big is that fish?
