Arrow Surfing Stingray Does Yours Do this?..*video*

So for the past couple of days my marble motoro has been surfing like crazy.

I use a Rena XP3 for one of my filters, and I think he enjoys the spraybar alot.

Do you think I should take off the spray bar?? Or is this something I should be concerned about???

if your rays stay on the top often, look like is not a good news,,,,,,,,,,,,
double check your water PH, temperature...or may change 10 % a little water!

Try to use your hand and push it down . If your ray still eating then it is just normal, not every ray is the same and some is just more active then other. As long as it is eating.

btw ray is bottom swimmer and when you have a driftwood like that, it really take all ray swimming space, so if you really love ray then give them more space on the bottom.

mine does this alot also but in the middle of the tank not at the surface.
almost reminds me of a fish that swims up and down the glass.

hmmm, rays go up and down the tank and sometimes stay at the top but yours was up there for even longer than 42 seconds. I would also post this up on monster fish keepers and get their take on it since a lot more people on there have stingrays.

Ben, we have been having chlroine problem with our water. Patrick also did a chlronie test and shows chlroine from tap. Are you adding anything to de-chlorine your water? If not, i suggest you do.

Like David said, it is eating, then it is fine. But to me, it does act strange.
