Arrow 'After the Crash' Munster Tank Sales Event!

    Note to all BCA Members:

    - First of all, THANK YOU for all your support and feedback. It is unfortunate that we had an interruption on this site. It has been a great experience becoming a sponsor for CUSTOM TANKS and AQUARIUMS on this forum!

    - All Munster Tanks are Premium Quality Fresh Off the Assembly Line Tanks. Munster Tanks are NOT stored for long periods of time, nor are they stored in uncontrolled temperature fluctuations.

    - These aquariums are made with first grade quality glass, not second grade.

    - Both the glass and silicone are fresh, not dried out. An aquarium sitting empty for long periods of time may leak.

    - All Munster Tanks are carefully inspected to ensure the highest quality standards.

Why would aquariums sitting empty for long periods of time leak?

The silicone has a potential to harden, to the point that it dries up and can be a catalyst to start leaking. This is also the reason why I recommend storing tanks inside, rather than in the garage or outside. As long as there is a little humidity and at room temperature (or close to it), you should be fine.

Seen a lot of instances of tanks bursting apart due to improper storage.

I hope this answers your question.

Glass tops are available for bowfronts from me, for sure. However these may take time to obtain, due to the less demand for them.

If time is an issue, the best thing to do is to trace out the top of your tank. Take this tracing to your local glass shop. They will be able to cut out the glass for you on the spot. Curves are tricky, so you better get someone who knows how to do them.

I think I've already convinced the wife, but we have to finish the kitchen reno first. Now to decide whether to do the cube or the bow. Once I decide that, I'll be talking to you about the stand. I want it to match my kitchen cabinets.
