I strongly advise people who want to go fishing take their time to study how to ID fish, safety, proper way to fish, limit, closeure area etc...

Just last week, there were 2 people got washed away at the Fraser river trying to cross with wader... It is not worth any amount of fish to lose your life over...

And the DFO will put a heavy fine on taking any fish that is non-retention or over the limit or fishing in a close are with your catch.

we should put up fishing forums on this site... would probably bring more traffic too.. seems like it fits in perfectly, keep fish or catch fish in one site!!

Just spent half a day with my daugther showing her how to properly fish as well as pointing out the do's and dont's. It is a treat that I can spend my favorite hobby with one of my kid. It is a bonus to see the fish all around us and watching her casting, setting, reeling, fighting, and landing fishies just made my day.

Sounds awesome Charles. I get the same type of joy sharing my passions/hobbies with Felicia. Isabella's still too young to do much other than lie there and look cute

Listen to this too if your just starting . there's alot of people that cant tell the species of salmon out there and its BS. STUDY DO YOUR RESEARCH. I also heard of 2 guys from my buddy that's a guide in the Fraser. that these 2 guys bonked 2 summer run steelhead they said they were sockeyes . DFO got there truck and they got 10000$ fines each . Some stuff that people try to pull fishing makes me very upset
