    Unhappy can't upload pictures

When I try and upload pictures the upload starts ok then it tells me the pic. file is larger than allowed. It's a small thumbnail picture and I have uploaded lots of these in the past, could it have something to do with a server change? Cheers Laurie

I've had this same issue since they've updated the server... I have started using photobucket.com for my pictures. It is extremely easy and you can upload pics much quicker and more at a time that you could on this forum. There is an <IMG> link for each photo you upload and you can just paste that right into your posts to get the full picture to show.

    Give it a try!

i believe the size limitation right now is tiny, like 90kb or something like that. I just gave up trying to upload onto the forum. Even if you resize your pictures to the required 600x600 they are still too large of files.

personally i have never used the attachment option on the forum, i have ALWAYS used photobucket, just so much easier.

I'd like to give the ability to let people upload on the website if they chooose, but you can understand how much stress that puts on the server with the amount of members here..

If it was working fine before i'd like to get it working fine now

it was working fine... the forum used to automatically resize your pictures and upload hi res shots with no problem, but your right there is a huge stress on the server. personally I think that photobucket is easier

you can download a image resizer that will allow you to resize the photo on your computer to the size needed
However I agree with the photobucket suggestions....much better for sure
