Chat function not working on my Laptop

I've repeatedly recieved chat messages by users while i was online and I hear the noise that i've recieve a message, I see their name next to the "who's online" box but i can't click thier name to open the chat window. This only happens on my laptop. I can move over to my desktop and it works with no problem. I'm running firefox on both computers and they've both been set to windows auto update (i don't even think it's a windows issue)

What is the problem here? Any ideas? Has anyone else had this happen?

definately a browser related issue.. umm.. if you use your internet explorer or chrome browser does it work on the device that does not work?

it works fine on Internet Explorer hmmm... i'm going to try and re-downloading and installing firefox and see what happens

really weird thing is it actually worked for about an hour yesturday! and since i shut that chat window down i can no longer open it

reinstalled browser... no change!

I have no idea man, maybe turn off the popup blocker? or maybe it's stopping a javascript from loading, very odd though.
