their title says: "FS: Assorted Angelfishes (Price Updated)" nothing misleading about that, plus it's in the breeder section where he actually pays to sell & not a good comparison once again.

For the regular BCA'ers, we've all seen this (the non FF version) ad around for some time now. So to think this brand new tank has become free all of a sudden is a ridiculous notion and an extra click isn't hurting anyone. I think people have gotta take a breath and relax.

I think this thread was simply trying to stop something before it gets out of hand and it goes from 1 extra worthless click to 100 due to others with the same mindset. I personally don't care to see a bunch of misleading ff ads at the top of the board every time I come here, let alone click on them to find you have to buy something to get it free. I can simply go to my junk/spam mail if I feel like clicking on a bunch of misleading ads. Maybe I should do that, according to most of them I can be a flippin' billionaire. Anyway, all the op got out of that thread was a bunch of extra views and still no sale & even made some not want to bother looking at their future sale ads.

I just made a thread in the lounge to discuss this subject on a more friendly platform.
I felt if I made a complaint I would be choosing a side, & it really doesn't bother me to that extent.
I just wanted to voice my opinion on the other threads to follow.
1st thread was funny IMO, the others were just...

What's the difference if the OP/Brad titled his thread like this:
FS: Buy my Equipment & get a free 230G tank BNIB.
I still think he would get the same amount of views/attention.
The only difference, ppl would just look & not post/complain about having to buy anything to get something for free.

Point taken. I just felt things were starting to get a bit twisted with everyone throwing stones at each other. There's no need for that on our forum. I think if people just ignored such ads this problem would go away on its own. The replies on the FF thread definitely added fuel to the fire.

totally agree.....I think it was best handled in a complaint thread myself. It was definitely getting a bit twisted. Even if people didn't like the ads design, it's against the rules to do that on classified ads. There's a report button on each post if someone has a problem with it. I wish the prices were in the titles, would save time on looking at things I can't afford in the first place, like a $2000+ set-up for example lol It's all typed and done now so hopefully everyone remains friends, no hard feelings & it will just be in the past.
