Sub to subforum feature?

I know I discussed this in other threads, but I'd like to officially bring this up. For instance, if I want to know if April or Charles puts up a new post in their forums by email, I can sub to the forum. Can this be done? I use this feature on Planetcatfish as I don't want to troll through 20 or 30 threads on African catfish and other monsters I'm not interested in.

I'm not following, need more detail. Also it would only make sence to put the time and effort in if it was a big request. Also Planetcatfish might be using a different forum software with different capabilities

Ok, well, on other forums, under thread tools in the subforum, you can choose "subscribe to this subforum" (sorry shouldn't have used sub for 2 different things). Then I get emailed every time a thread is updated or new thread is created. One obviously wouldn't do this under freshwater chat or classifieds, but for the sponsor forums when they announce new stuff only every once in a while, I would see it right away.
