I registered a while back under one name, introduced myself, made a post in the introduction, and then the website would not let me post on my next time in. I had not checked the box where it says accept terms (rules of the site). I was given a new password but I still could not access. So I reregistered under a new e-mail account with a username and password, which currently is IceBlue. I have made some posts under this name and have been PM ing Gimlid regarding his aquarium. I accessed the site this am and the web site acknowledged and welcomed me, but my username did not come up at the top of the page. I went to pm him this am to discuss some final details on the purchase of his 180 gal in the classifieds and I now cannot access them. I can read other posts but not the classifieds and I can't make any posts. My dilema is I have opened a discussion regarding a purchase with a senior member and now cannot contact him. I am embarrassed because it makes me look like a trifeler, or worse plus I may miss out onthe purchase. Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppp.

I just had a thought that maybe I have a pop up blocker or security setting that may be causing access problems. I don't know.

A firewall will sometimes block too many things. Try to turn it off. Also clear you history, cache and temporary internet files. Then try again.

Thanks for the tips guys, all is fine, stupid pop up blocker or firewall setting. I got my message over to Gimlid so all is well. Hopefully I can top it off in the near future with a picture of my new 180.

Well I thought I had it fixed but every time I exit and try to get back in I have to hack away at my default settings in Norton Antivirus. This time I,ve been at it for an hour with no luck. I visit other sites, don't have this problem. I'm sure I,d see complaints if others were having this problem so I'm at a loss.
