Youtube code updated again!

Hey guys and gals,

just thought i'd let you know the youtube function is back up and working again, it's ANOTHER way now..

There are some reasons i had to do this:

The FIRST way i had it with the [ yt ] tags.. is that when you edited your post, your videos disappeared... we lived with that for a long time.

then just a few weeks ago i added a NEW youtube embedded player but for some reason it was not displaying ALL videos.. only select few..

I finally installed a new one.. and it works similar to the first way we did it.

How to embed YOUTUBE Videos:

1) press the little youtube icon

2) it will display the tags [youtube ] [/youtube ]

3) put the ID of the youtube video between the youtube tags, DO NOT put the full URL of the youtube video.

You can find the ID in the URL of the youtube video you are viewing, or you can press "share" and it will tell you as well .

Sorry for the changes, there are not really any good youtube mods for vbulletin..hopefully this one works great and we stay with this one.

you can make it full screen by pressing those four arrows in bottom right corner as well

I tried updating some of my past posts and just end up with a big white box.
It says click to activate and use this control, i try that and get nothing.
I'll try one here and see if it works.




edit: Same thing here, all I get is a blank white box, yet I can see the one you posted no problem. Weird

i think in your case it might be a youtube issue dave, when i click it it says
The URL contained a malformed video ID.
