I don't normally write reviews for anything because i think there are enough people who do it but i thought i would give one of your employees the recognition he deserves. A guy named Eric Tollefson (hopefully i spelled this correctly) helped me picked out the fish while i was there earlier this afternoon. He is the most friendly and helpful guy i've ever met while picking fish. He answered every question i had about fish keeping in general and referred to at least 80 species of fish by their scientific name in our conversation. Truly the most knowledgeable fishkeepers i've ever met. Thanks rogers and Eric for the fish and the help.

Eric has been in the business for 44 years and does really know his stuff. Alot of members here know him from when he worked at King Ed's. For those that would like to see Eric he works Fridays and Sundays

He is Eric Talson, and he is one of the most recognizable faces at just about any LFS in the lower mainland It was mentioned that he has been in the business for 44 years....I have known him and dealt with him for MANY of those years and have found him to be extremely knowledgable and honest I have run the gamut and kept and/or bred just about every species of freshwater fish including Discus, Angels, Africans, Catfish, Swords, Guppies, Killifish and several other species........as well as plants . I also currently run a reef tank. I Haven't found a fish that Eric doesn't know something about and can't offer helpful info about. When it comes to tropical fish ..............whether if be saltwater or freshwater, plants or associated equipment/supplies, you will be hard pressed to stump Eric or pose a question to which he doesn't have an answer I was at Roger's today and Eric was working his magic. So it appears that he may be working more than just the two days mentioned

Although I haven't been there as much as I should have, I was just reminded why this is the best store for service. I know Roger is always busy but he took some time to chat and told me of some secret stuff he just got. Happy I bought it, now my shrimp tank is complete

By the way, he has a bunch of those foam/sponge backgrounds for fish tanks and reptiles. SUPER COOL stuff. Doesn't fit in my shrimp tank but I'm gonna get one for my tank thats empty.

yep, $15-20 I think. SUPER COOL. I'm going to set up a tank just because of those foam backgrounds haha.
