Hey, I know this is an old post but I only just found it today. Ironically I replaced my bulbs right after reading it (about 5mins ago) and encountered the same problem. I took the lights down to check it over and I realized that as I was screwing the little plastic enforcer bits back on it was twisting one side of one of the bulbs. Because one side was in and the other was not, the light was switching on and then automatically switching off. I fixed the bulb and it was all good

On these small bulbs the ends can sometimes twist when you install them. Try wrapping the ends with a small strip of duct tape. That prevents the ends from turning on the bulb when inserting them.
