Homedepot.ca has a 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis water filtration system on sale for their "Hammer Drop" (Deal of the day) for $199 (September 12, 2011)

That is a reasonable price. I did however find a manufactorer in Victoria that sells them very cheap. The company is AquasafteysystemsLtd. They do have a web site they sell from our you can get from their store on ebay (some items are free shipping)
water filter, water purification items in aquasafecanada store on eBay!.

I guess the benifit of buying from home depot would be easy access to replacement filters.
