    Default Excellent Moonlight System

Not sure if this is the right place for it but I just want to recommend this eBay seller if anyone is considering a moonlight system for your fishies.

Complete Moonlight Aquarium LED Moon Light System

Depending on your tank size, but for $20 or so you can have a moonlight system that looks natural at night. I know you can buy some cheap LEDs for a few bucks but the difference is huge.

I'm not affiliated with the seller but just wanted to share as I just installed the system and am very happy with it and their customer service.

Very interesting. Thanks for the pointer.

    A few questions:
    - how long are the cables between each LED and the transformer?
    - did you drill yours into a fixture or did you use the adhesive?
    - how deep is your tank?

The cable length between each LED is about 1.5 feet, and about 6 feet from the first LED going to the power adapter. It's enough to run from power bar on the floor, up to my stand into hood and evenly spread all 6 LEDs in my 48x18x18" tank. Though they custom make each order, you should be able to request for longer cable if needed.

They provide some mounting bases but I just duct taped the wires/LED into my wooden hood. No drillings needed, but if you want inside of your light fixture to look professional then you can do just that.

Hmm it appears that the seller is away and they don't have any items up for sale now. I'm not sure what the reason is... try sending them a message or check back later.

I just finished ordering an 8 Light LED Moonlight System - only $29.05 US with shipping.
I will be very curious to see how they look - will post after they arrive...

The LED Moonlight System looks good, and the price is not so expensive. I have a tank keep some fish, but I use a new kind LED waterproof light, can be bule and white.
