For those who don't mind King Ed. You have to check out their insane XP prices. Almost as cheap as used ones.
My apology to those trying to sell their used ones![]()

100g Cube L134/L200a
I have an xp3 for parts if anyone is looking for parts! ;-) Only broken piece is the hose attachment on the lid.
how much? Wondering if the one on my xp2 would be the same, have to go look it up real quick
Nice thing about the XP is the head housing is identical from XP1 to XP4.
I just checked them at King Ed, and grab 1 xp4, bad thing is it doesn't include bio medias. Actually almost empty medias inside. Really don't want to buy bio medias from them, they are too expensiveAnd the XP4 price raised to $170+ after TAX! why we pay so much tax when we buy something ?! Is the government charge from buyer and seller double tax ?
??? I don't follow the last post at all.
Filstars don't come with bio media, they also have a manufacturer's minimum price much higher then that. Even Amazon is 183.99, 149 is just nuts, and abusive to the product. It wont be long until everyone with XP's have issues finding parts etc. No retailer is going to continue promoting a product like Filstars at such a loss.
The above post is a good example as to why making expensive products cheap does not always help the end user. For a Filstar to work properly it needs a good quality bio media, they cost money.
IPU no longer carry Filstars for the reasons listed above, others will follow suit. Remember the Marineland canister? It was in and out of retailers at what seemed like over night. The same fate will come to Filstar, mark my words.
