    not a pleco kind of guy...but im going to assume that this is a good deal???

    Yes, that's a very good deal, depending on the quality and the actual size. Young adults are fetching 2 to 3x that price.

    I love Zebra Plecos!!! Had my eye on them on Aquabid and when people post them. Gorgeous!!!

    Yes, but this guy is selling fry and not young adults, so it's still a deal, but not as good as half price.

    I remember someone on the forum that mentioned the fry stage for a zebra is the most fragile stage.. is it?

    I suspect he's selling juvies and not really fry so they should be hardier, but yes, it's definitely riskier than getting adults. But since they are bred locally, they should be hardier than wild caught fish in our setups.
