Default What do YOU want to see at the VAHS meetings?

For those who are interested in going to any future VAHS meetings (they are free for everyone to attend), what do you want to see/do?

We're looking for suggestions so that we can better structure the society and what better way to do it than to listen to the people and do it their way. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. thanks

We do hold a members only auction in April which is almost as large as the November auction. It is fish and plants, no supplies.

Yes we used to have it in the dolphin room but it was limited in space as there were times people had to sit on the floor. Also, we get whatever room we are given....beggars can't be choosers when a free room is offered.

As for two auctions, yes as Dave mentioned there is also a Spring one that we have at the Aquarium which is larger than out usual monthly auctions.

As for a bowl show, that's a possibility. What kind of show were you thinking? we may even be able to get some prizes. More suggestions please! thanks keep them coming....

Maybe a once in a while, or one time only meeting someplace like new west, surrey, or whatever.

HHmm....good point. The only thing is that we have space at the Vancouver Aquarium and it's donated to us. Normally it would cost us a lot of money to book a room. If we can get a room for free, it may be a possibility?
