Had a little bit of a scare in the middle of this month. Came home from work one day to find all 6 fish very dark, shedding slime coat and huddling in the corner. Did some searching and came upon this thread Discus Gone REALLY dark, Almost black. Setup a hospital tank and followed the dosage for methylene blue continuing with daily 100% w/c and within a week everybody was pretty much back to normal. Growth seems to be slowing down a bit now which I'm guessing is to be expected with the stress and general age of the fish. Largest is just a hair under 4". Here are some photos from the other day. Thanks for looking!

It's great that you were able to pull them through whatever went wrong. They are looking awesome.

Not much to report this month. Discus are all doing well and settled in after a move. In a less traffic area and seems to be doing them good.

Haven't measured any of the larger ones but have grown a little bit. The blues really come out during water changes lately but then go back to a more yellow base color.

Great blue colour. A darker background would likely encourage the more vivid blue colour to show all of the time.

Measured the largest and it is 4 1/4 inches definitely not as large as the other grow out contestants. I'm assuming it is because of the ph crashes i have had a few times in the last couple months. Sort of a bummer they aren't as large and filled out as I would have hoped them to be. Almost a bit discouraging.
