    DefaultDriftwood in the 210

Thanks. I was fortunate when I set up the tank, I found a craigslist ad where the guy was selling most of what you see for $80. There are some beautiful large pieces in there. With all the driftwood my concern though, was that I would not be able to clean near the back. So I connected my fx filters to a 1.5" black pvc pipe (drilled like a spray bar) which runs along the bottom of the tank at the back (if you look carefully you can see it in the photo. This creates current running the length of the tank from back of tank to front, effectively blowing all the dirt to the front where it settles for me to siphon off during water changes.

    Month 1

Having rapidly outgrown the 10G I had to make a plan. I decided that they are now big enough to relocate to the 210 so I spent Sunday carrying out multiple 10% water changes but topping up with water from the 210 to acclimatize them. By evening they showed no stress so I transferred them across.

The gradual change worked really well as they immediately started looking for food with no stress bars showing. As you will see in the photos following I have split the tank so that they are separated from their larger tank mates until they have caught up in size

The fish look great! And I love that wood. I am not getting the growth you seem to be getting but I think I might transfer mine into a 120G after seeing your successful transfer. Thanks for the post.

Thanks! Making the small water changes throughout Sunday really worked for me - their relocation was so easy as a result

Growth: I do have the unfair advantage of working from home, so they get fed every time I walk past the tank. And they eat a lot! They are always hungry. Still picky on Blood worm and Brine shrimp though.
