15.99 at JL otherwise I'll take him. I'm certain you're supposed to list cheaper than lfs

It would probably be more appropriate to pm about the price...

    PSA FROM VDUB

The seller does not have to sell at or lower than the "supposed" local fish store price. They can list for however much they feel is fair. This is a private sale between hobbyists, not a commercial sale at a store. Did you take into account that this fish is healthy and has been acclimated to tank conditions and isn't one of those wild battered sick fishes in a small overcrowded tank in the stores?

In my opinion, fishes from hobbyists are worth more than those straight from the store. Often, 1/3 fish that I purchase from a store die within 2 weeks (no matter how good of an environment I can provide them) but 100% of the fish that I buy from hobbyists live for years. Fish from hobbyists are always healthier, well fed and happier than the ones from an overcrowded LFS. They've been treated with care and the price should reflect that.

Stonefish, if you're going to suggest lowering the price of someone's ad, please find a better reason than price matching with a LFS.

And that goes for all sales of livestock between hobbyists. If the livestock (plants or fish) have been well treated and are healthy then most certainly the value of the livestock should go up. How many times have people bought plants from a store to find out that it was an emersed grown plant and melted away in a week? Or bought a seemingly healthy fish (at a LFS) but turns out it was infested with worms and died soon after? Think about it...

Do you have picture? I am looking for a female green mandarin as I currently I have a male. If it is female I would take it.

that's fine, that's cool. I'll pay whatever Turtle deems fair. I realize now that established eatng Mandarin are more expensive. But I did say I'd take it first
